Library module Probably obvious but my import isn't showing up.

I have several folders that are imported into Lightroom. Yet when I open LR I cannot see those folders. I can only see some older folders which I have removed. Please see the attachment. My poorly done text should read "There should be more folders underneath the Seagate Backup Plus" Joe

Export Some Export Operations could not be performed

I think that *maybe* I figured it out. I accidentally deleted the folder I need from LR. I thought I was deleting only an incorrectly named folder. Now to re-import and then re-export. But I'm sure that I've got it now though.

Export Some Export Operations could not be performed

This is rather frustrating. I've been trying different things all evening, The pictures from Saturday are in 4 different subfolders, D1-D4 I thought that perhaps LR was having trouble with the subfolders (it never has before), so I tried exporting *just* from D1 There are 6,7543 images in D1...

Export Some Export Operations could not be performed

Hi, I have pictures in 3 folders o a local hard drive. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Friday exported to jpeg flawlessly However, Saturday will not export. It seems like it can't find the pictures. How do I direct LR to the pictures? They are imported, but it seems LR is having an issue finding...

    Export Some images don't export

Do the exclamation marks in the upper right corners indicate missing images? I've used LR a lot, but I really don't know it very well. I primarily use it to run noise reduction on my raw images. Once I get out of that, that's the limit of my knowledge. To "reconnect" the images, I do...what...

    Export Some images don't export

I"m not exactly sure why the issue appeared. I had 3 days of pictures, with approx the same number of files on each day. Friday and Saturday exported flawlessly. I finally got Sunday to work. I deleted the raw files from LR, re-imported and then exported. In other words, I did the exact same...

    Prefix mandatory?

Is there a way that you could 'force" people to put a prefix in their thread title? If not, perhaps you could put that in a pinned post? When I open the forums and scan, it's so much easier to scan the prefixes and then I can look at what I'm interested in, i.e. Develop, Export, etc... Joe

    Export Some images don't export

I *think* I've worked it out. I'll let you know tomorrow. Joe

    Export Some images don't export

Please see the attached screenshot. For some reason, even though the pictures are imported into lightroom, it wont' export some of them. There are roughly 9,000 images. It will export about 7500 images. I've never had this issue before. I can look in the folder in which the originals are stored...

    Computer suddenly died

Thank you. I didn't know that it would be that simple! Joe

    Computer suddenly died

The motherboard on my computer died. I have no display. I have Lightroom classic CC installed both on the dead computer and on a laptop. As I recall you can only have Lightroom activated on two computers. Can I just call Adobe and tell them to deactivate it on my desktop since it died?

    Import How do I?

The problem that I have is that it's importing away, then a dialog box comes up that says words to the effect..."a file being copied has the same name as one you're copying. Keep one or the other or both?" Also, reading your answer, I absolutely need to find a file by image number.

    Import How do I?

Good idea. I'll try and span over several memory cards, I'll just take random pictures

    Import How do I?

Trying it with a smaller number of pictures is a good idea, but they are long gone from my memory cards. I guess I'll have to try it at the next trial, if it doesn't work it doesn't work.

    Import How do I?

Thank you. I'll look at that when I do my next trial. I can set renaming and location parameters there? Joe
