OK there seems to be two pages that are near identical one has the 6.13 download and the other does not.
This one offers the v6.13 updater.
Download Photoshop Lightroom
On the page click the right arrow that opens the list of updaters.
Choose Mac or Windows flavours of v6.13 updaters.
Thanks for confirming that I wasnt going mad!
Been having a poor technology week (three punctures on same car tyre, Drobo B800 (16TB RAID unit) gone belly up - wont attach to any machine, MacMini Server i7 2.3GHz 4 core 16GB RAM (2012) damaged by lightning strike.
Are you saying that the All Languages Installer is the v6.13?
That is really poor labelling for the final LR v6.13 product. Adobe really are trying to be obtuse/difficult!!
Seeing that but when I click on it I only get this.
Well my LR v6.12 Perpetual doesnt offer me the update from the Help > Updates.
Via the Adobe Creative Cloud Updater it shows that I have LR Classic CC installed.... (interesting - not to my knowledge!!).
Also I would prefer to get the link directly.
This page does not offer a link to the 6.13...
When I Export to a full sized JPG my images have a thumbnail embedded but if I Export smalll JPGs there is no thumbnail.
Does anyone know the image size (pixels or kB) when this turnover happens. Or have I missed something in the Export dialogue (I have looked).
Yes this backup the LR setup and also the catalog. I dont store my images in a catalog.
I use FreeFileSynch to backup my image store to my NAS. My image store is over 4 TB so that would take a couple of days unless you use the latest fastest technology.
Doing a supplemental backup with FFS...
Happy to pay for an upgrade of my Perpetual License to LR v7. If Adobe move to Subscription only for LR then they will have lost me to the competition. They have already lost my Design Studio update money by moving this to subscription.
I dont really care one way or the other and Adobe...
Well I can't do a single import renaming preset but I can do a set of custom ones for each and all of my different cameras.
That helps somewhat.
I dont want to change my image file name conventions now after so many years but I do appreciate the uniqueness of Johan's naming convention even...
Johan, Thanks for the example.
That looks like a good system for ensuring unique filenames.
I would use it but I tend to work with two or three cameras so I think I would need to use a modified but similar system to try and keep files in Capture time order.
