Yes Conrad, your screen shot is what I was asking about. After reading both your response and Johan's, I still don't know how I would choose one over the other. Maybe I just need to play around with it on different pictures and compare.
When I am in the library mode, if I scroll rapidly through my pictures, it takes awhile for my pictures to show up. My lightroom program did not do this previously but this happened after I deleted some of my old "ircat" files.
I accidentally switched from my SD card to my CF card then back to my SD card. Unfortunately, when I switched back to my SD, the file numbers for hundreds of photos have the exact same file name. All my photos are imported and processed in Lightroom. What should I do?
I am using Lightroom 5.7.1 and when I soft proof any picture with blue in it, all the blue is out of gamut for the monitor but very little is out of gamut for the destination. Do you think this is a bug in my version of lightroom?
Weird! I knew this picture was not "behaving" so I exported it to PS and then without doing any processing, exported it as back to LR as a TIFF file. I now am able to export this file as a 5MB jpeg file. Not sure what happened.
pixel dimension is 5184 X 3456 and cropped is 4769 X 3180
I have tried both ways - not checking the limit in which the file size is always larger than 5MB and when I check the limit to 5000k, I get the error message "could not create a JPEG that met your limit of 5000k bytes (1)"
