    Lightroom 3 Released

Gots mine this evening. :) Of all the LR upgrades, this was the smoothest.

Solved: Lightroom sluggishness with Nvidia drivers

Thanks borez, Changing the Display Scheme to "Default Single Display" on my basic Radeon 96'' did make a difference with the performance of the sliders. They are more responsive. :)

    Poll on LR2 stability

I didn't have any crashes with the new version 2.'. Just that the windows folders hieraracy would not be the same as the LR folders hieraracy. Photos that were in the windows folders would not appear in LR, yet LR claimed they were present. Had to use the "Synchronize Folder Command" to get it...

Have you abandoned Ps in favour or Lr?

Have been using LR for organization. And use CS3 for some serious effects. Also find that CS3 produces better prints on my smaller Epson. :D

    Liking it

I agree. LR does have a bit of a learning curve, (at least for me). But the vast amount of tutorials and forums on the web help. :)

Moving between drives: the easy way.

Its nice to hear good stories about photos being moved. :) At the rate that I am adding photos, I will have to move all my photos to a larger external HD soon.

Book recommendations - lesser known features

I also benefited from Martin Evening's book on Lightroom. :)

    What are those little Plusses?

Thus, that plus sign was telling us that we messed up but its up to us to try to figure out just what we did wrong. ;) But now we know. This is how we learn. (Ok, on to the next challenge.) :D

    What are those little Plusses?

Hi Kiwigeoff, I thought that might be it, but I just stacked two of my images together and got a slash between the two numbers as such:

    What are those little Plusses?

Hi Pindy, From Martin Evening's book, the plus sign "indicates that some of the images in a folder are for one reason or another, hidden." He doesn't eleborate as to exactly how an image can be hidden. Guess you'll have to check thru all 129' images and see what is different with one or more...
