Good day goo people,
I am looking for a copy of Lightroom 6. I paid for this program at the time and I registered it under my My Account with Adobe. Despite the fact that it was promissed by Adobe that the program would always be available for download, this is however not possible. I find...
Thank you Jim,
My camera, a Nikon D7100, has two card slots indeed and both are activated. Slot #1 is set for RAW and #2 is set for Jpeg. The camera itself is set to quality RAW without Jpeg. Nontheless on card #2 are NEF copies of card #1. So maybe the duplicates are caused by a camera issue...
Good morning to you all,
I 've just noted Lightroom is making copies of some photos during the import procedure. LR automatically added 14 duplicated photos to of a batch of 84 pics. The filenumbers of these particular copies have got a "-2" addition to it. So if the original filename reads...
For the time being it looks like my problem is solved by clicking several times the on/off button on the lefthand side of the music panel. After that the added music track played like it did before.
Thank you all.
When I created this Slideshow a couple of weeks ago I also added two songs to it and all went well. Today however I decided to alter the music that belongs to that particular Slideshow. In order to do so I deleted the original tracks and replaced them by another MP3 track. At that moment...
Just noticed that my Lightroom Classic 8.1 freezes after a changed of a song in the Music Section of the Slideshow Panel. Before all slideshows worked perfectly with (all kinds of files) music.
Does this sounds familiar to you?

I also had 40 pictures which wouldn’t save metadatato file. I followed Victoria’s advise “to write the metadata to XMP, then reading it back into Lightroom”.After this 24 pictures were updated indeed but the remaining 16 did not. At acloser look these particular 16 photos are all virtual copies...
Hello again Mark,
Your hunch was a good one and solved my problem.
I am very much ashamed since this is actually not for the first time I walked into this ̶';Stacks” trap.
Thank you both for your efforts.
