Nope - back to square one - a couple of hours later - switch on PC again - open Lightroom and have to login with email and password again. CC is running in Task Manager ???
Aha - thanks for suggestions guys - I found my System Tray (bottom right on task bar) - but no CC icon. Found online a suggestion to check "Task Manager" (ctrl+shift+esc) - click "more details">"start-up" - here I could see "Creative Cloud Desktop" which for some reason was not "enabled" - so...
Thanks but - I have to sign in to the CC App each time so no steps saved! - presume this means that CC App is not in my Windows "System Tray" at start up even though I reinstalled CC App a few weeks back???
I am still having to sign in every time I go to use Lightroom on my desktop, typing in email then password. I do not have to sign in on iPad or iPhone. Also occasionally after a while using Lightroom, it tells me it is closing down and I have to sign in again. Is there something missing from...
Yesterday, every time I (right click) "Duplicate 1 Photo", it would dup0licate the photo but it would be the Raw undeveloped version - BUT if I then did "Duplicate 1 Photo" a second time, a second developed one would appear!? Then I have to mark the first duplicat

Thanks for that Clee, but before seeing your message I rang the IT dept of my old accounting firm - they managed to get the Nvidia driver updated and also updated dozens of other drivers for the Intel stuff via Windows manual update select (which I didnt know existed) - we dont know whether that...
Thanks Paul - but ... Windows 10 says graphics driver up to date. Nvidia GTX 970 says cannot install driver until hardware manager is shut down or similar - but there is no such thing open. LR crashed instantly again ie screen just froze - I am now unable to use it ???
I have just updated LR. After a few adjustments to an image everything froze. Ctrl alt del did nothing, so it was a hard power off then restart- the first restart led to a Windows update ( I have been Away for 2 weeks). Then the crash happened twice more! Any ideas?
Since I tried zooming in with ctrl+Z or Alt+Z my min & max windows symbols have disappeared. So I now have to hit the windows key on my keyboard to access other programs! Any ideas?
