    This is the weirdest LrC issue! The Creative Cloud Desktop shows LrC installed. I can also see it in "Add or Remove Programs." But the shortcut in my taskbar doesn't function, and the program is no longer in my program list! I guess I will have to uninstall/reinstall. Again.

    Thank you for that caution. I have been using OneDrive for years as a backup, WITHOUT syncing to my PC. I am considering transitioning to syncing selected folders. Your advice may help me determine whether to continue with manual upload on certain folders.

    Yes, I do backup to an external drive (H). See screenshot, Prefs default settings are the correct, desired location. I reset preferences recently for another issue. No change. I will look at the link, thanks.

    Already tried that. Makes no difference. What's crazy is that when I pick "choose a different catalog" LrC opens up the folder with the catalog I want. It knows where it is! But it doesn't open it without making me click on it.
