Hi ,
I was going through some older ARW images making develop edits, nothing serious just some exposure, highlight, shadow, white, black adjustments. Since many of the images were pretty much duplicates, bicycle riders, I would edit 1 then select next image, right click select paste settings from previous... most times it would work without incident. However sometimes the paste would not work but it there would be a develop badge added in lower right corner of the receiving image. So I would try to do a straight copy and paste using the right click method but it still didn't change the image. So I would reset the receiving image then edit it manually. After which I could continue on with doing the paste settings from previous method until it failed again.
Has anyone experienced the same issue? I would be doing this with filmstrip and loupe view.

Thanks for reading my question.

When you observe this happening, take the target image into Develop -- have the sliders changed correctly in Develop? There have been different symptoms reported -- 1) copying sometimes doesn't change the targets sliders, and 2) copying changes the sliders but the Library thumbnails and previews don't update. The second appears to be reported much more frequently than the first. Adobe has marked both problems as "investigating".

Many people have reported that restarting LR temporarily fixes the issue and Library previews start updating again. (It's struck me a couple times and restarting fixed the issue.)

I had scenario 2 every time. Restarting Lightroom Classic temporarily fixed the issue but after several "paste from previous image " commands the issue comes back.
