I've just started using LR Mobile, for both Android and IOS, although using LR for many years. I want to get my phone camera shots into the pc - I do not intend editing in LR Mobile.

Mobile data syncs ok with cloud and stores images in specified folder on my hard drive. In LR Classic on desktop, all shots are shown in an "All Synced Photos" section under Catalogues. However I cannot see how to get them from there into the collections. Clicking on Cloud Sync in top RH corner seems to do nothing. What am I missing, please?

I have tried to import images from hard drive, but although they show they are greyed out and I cannot select them?

If you will note the file locations for image files synced FROM the cloud are specified in the Lightroom Sync tab of Preferences. The All synced Photographs is a special collection that has as it members ALL of the images synced to and from the collections, If you want to add an image to a (static) Collection you can drag it from another Collection, its folder location or the “All Synched Photographs” special Collection.
REMOVING an image from the “All Synched Photographs” special collection will remove it from the cloud but not from its folder location stored locally OR from other static collections.

Thank you. I had found that reference but still had the problem. HOWEVER, on restarting LR today I find that the images are no longer greyed out and I can drag them into a static collection. Perfect! Thanks for your help.
