Hello Paul, May I kindly send you my catalog for someone to take a look? I'm running on LIghtroom 5. Things got so confusing for me. I read up on the sqlite, but am afraid it's beyond my comprehension. I'm not very techy. I am afraid I lost my edits. thank you very much.

What specific issues are you finding? When was your last backup prior to the issues?

Estou com o mesmo problema. Meu catalogo está corrompido.

Tentei usar o SQLITE, mas não consegui. Alguma outra solução?
Você obterá resultados mais rápidos se traduzir sua consulta de português para inglês.

Paul McFarlane may provide you with a link to sent the catalog file to see if it might be repaired.

Please tell me first (in English) what the issue is and which version of Lightroom you are using.

Hi Paul, The last back up was in June 2021. When I click on one of the folders (zip), it looks like the first screenshot. When I click on another folder, it looks like the 2nd screenshot. I am not techy, and I don't know what to do. Is this salvageable? I had about 30K images and its edits on here. I think my external drive ran out of steam (over 9 years old; did not drop it).

Unfortunately, I do not have earlier backups b/c whenever I back up my catalog, I would delete the older versions. I know I should have kept a few previous versions of older catalogs.

Is there any way I can get my catalog to work again? Many thanks. This is Lightroom 5 (very old, I know.... :(

You can send it to us and we will look, but being Lr5 we have no way to test after. Send to [email protected], compress the catalog first and send by WeTransfer.

In the second screenshot it's giving that error as there is a lock file left over. Delete the lock file and try it.

Thank you. Sent it out on 10/4/21. Appreciate your taking a look.

We tried, unfortunately there's nothing we can do to bring it back to life. It'll be a case of going back to your previous backup (and taking backups more regularly we'd suggest).

Thank you so much, Paul. Appreciate your time and effort. Noted.

Have a beautiful weekend.
