Hi, I got a new Epson P900 printer the other day and I downloaded some generic profiles for the Permajet Papers from their site and put them into my ColourSync Folder on my Mac.

However, when I go into Profile: to select my paper profile it won't retain selections of the Permajet paper profiles but it will retain the ticked Epson profiles.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Brian

MacBook Pro running Big Sur 11.4 and Lightroom Classic 10.3.

Solution
First of all, you need to restart Lightroom. Secondly, choose 'Other' at the bottom of the profiles list in Lightroom. That should bring up a dialog were you can check those profiles you want to see in the list. Note: Lightroom only supports RGB-based profiles, not CMYK-based ones.

Hi Johan, thank you. It was restarting LR I was missing. I had already been selecting "other" and checking the paper profiles but it wasnt retaining the selections. It is now after a restart.

Thank you.
