Selecting photos in the map module and applying keyword

I am struggling with the following: I geotag all my photos and I apply keywords as much as possible. I am running into a problem now when I want to use both. This is the situation: I live close to an old dike that has protected a large part of my country against the sea (The "Westfriese Omringdijk" in The Netherlands). This dike is build in 1300 and is a historical landmark and protected as such. I have taken hundreds of photographs of this dike and its surroundings. I would like to apply the keyword "Westfriese Omringdijk" to all these photos. The best way to do that seemed to me to select the photos in the map module and apply the keyword. However, I can not find a way to do this. I can click on a pin on the map, the photos are selected in the filmstrip, but what to do next?

Okay, my suggestion is to select them just as you are in the Map Module, then hit 'B' (Add to Quick Collection), change to Library / Quick Collection - then you can add the Keyword by simply selecting them all there.

Another, even faster, way is simply hit the ‘G’ key to go back to the grid. The images you had selected in the filmstrip in the Map module will remain selected, so now you can add the keyword to all of these images at once.

I hadn't realised the images stay selected when switching to another module, thanks! Paul's suggestion will do the trick. What I still think is a bit of a dissapointment is that when you select a "pin" in the map module, the images for that pin get selected and this selection is shown in the filmstrip by coloring the images. But there seems to be no way to only show the selected images. The farther you zoom out, the more images will be grouped in the pin, but there is no way to see all those images at once. Paul's solution does that but it requires switching modules.
