Hi I currently have Lightroom (cloudy) and I’m thinking of purchasing photoshop. Is my only option to purchase photoshop for £19.97 and continue to pay £9.98 for Lightroom or is there a combined plan please? Thank you

Yes, there is a combined plan. Assuming you have the Lightroom plan, which has 1TB of cloud storage, you could switch to the Photography Plan (with 1TB of cloud storage). That plan includes Lightroom and also Classic and Photoshop, and costs £19.97 per month total. Yes, you might not want Classic....but you don't need to use it, and it's still the cheapest way to add Photoshop to your existing plan.

Hi Jim, thanks for getting back to me. Yes I do have the lightroom plan with 1TB storage. Sorry to be a bit slow (its been a long week at work) but does that mean that I could still use lightroom (cloudy) with photoshop, but that I would have classic as well? All for the £19.97? Thank you

The photography plan that Jim has recommended will let you use the copy of Lightroom that you now have installed AND use Photoshop with any of the images in the Lightroom Cloud.
It will also give you the 1TB of cloud storage that you need to store all of your master images in the cloud. This is the plan that I have and I also use Lightroom Classic for some functionality not found in Lightroom (cloudy) You don’t need to use Lightroom Classic but it an a few other apps are included in the plan.

Thanks Cletus, I’ve just had an online conversation with a ‘chat’ advisor on the Adobe pricing website. After a very painful discussion, being a novice, he said that he could add photoshop to my account for an extra £16 a month, on top of the cost of Lightroom. Would you know if that sounds about right? He started to give me too much information, that I really didn’t understand and started changing the pricing, so I wasn’t confident in what he was trying to explain or what I was actually buying. I think he got a bit frustrated with me, I know that I was. I understand that you’re in the USA, so The money side of things may not mean anything to you :)

£16 per month + the £9.98 you're already paying? That's nonsense....just tell them you want you change your current plan (Lightroom with 1TB) to the Photography plan with 1TB....that's £19.97 per month for the new plan. The only thing you need to make clear is that obviously you want your existing cloud assets to remain, i.e. you want to use the same Adobe ID details as you are currently using. Honestly, they should be well versed in this....

Oh thanks Jim, I though it was me that wasn’t understanding. Yes he definitely wanted to sign me up for £26 in total, that’s why I ended the conversation with him - I thought it all sounded very strange. I think I‘ll try and phone them if that’s possible and I’ll spell out what you said above. Thanks again
