Moving Flickr albums across Catalogs

I've created a new Catalog to store my stuff on a much larger hard drive, and successfully moved across images, tags, collections etc etc. But it seems harder to move 'Publish Services' settings across. I can start from scratch, but that way lose all the albums I have in Flickr, from which I've been able to publish directly into the Flickr albums and look at my history in these albums. Is there any way of copying over Publish Services settings, or does anyone have suggestions for other ways to crack this? (Curiously, my SmugMug website albums have transferred across.)

Why did you create a new catalog? The simple solution would be to copy the catalog folder with the catalog and previews to the new location and proceed with Lightroom from there.
Publish Services settings are stored in the catalog database file. I not sure why your SmugMug Publish Service would have magically happened in the new catalog.

It was an attempt at a tidying up exercise after running one large catalog for many years. It's not crucial, and I guess it's not too late to go back to the old one. But I can promise you the SmugMug stuff has appeared!

And I thought that everything would be importable from my old catalog, so no downside. (As indeed it was, with the exception of what I'm asking about.)

The last thing that you want to be forced to do is reimport existing images into a catalog since all of the edits and metadata and develop history is stored only in the catalog file and is lost to the new catalog. Lightroom is designed to be efficient with hundreds of thousands of images. So, catalog size is not critical.
I used a MBP for travel and needed a catalog dedicated to my work on the road that contained all of my publish services and "bells and whistles" from my master catalog but not the existing images on my iMac. To do this I simply copied ONLY the master catalog and preferences files to the MBP. Once on the MBP I removed the cataloged image files in that Travel copy of the catalog so that the image count started at zero. All of my publish services (and I had an exhaustive list of Publish folders) were intact and available on the road. When I returned from travel I was able to meter everything into the master catalog using the "Import from another catalog function".

I decided in the end to revert to my old catalog (but rename it) and just import the images from the last few days since I made the change. All seems to be working ok now - thanks for help provided.
