HELP..
I am a new member of to the forum. I apologize for the length and number of questions, but I think they’re all related. If I did something incorrect in entering the questions, please let me know.

1) After selecting ‘images to export’, Export ... button is on the LEFT side, it’s always been on the RIGHT side in the past. SYNC METADATA and SYNC SETTINGS buttons are on the right. How do I get Export back to the right side? If I use ‘Export on the left and fill in the folder info and hit the ‘Export’ on the left, the images are not in the chosen destination or anywhere else..
2) Can’t find the button ‘import all images ‘ (or something like that.) that used to be on the right side. i’m trying to import grayed-out images.
3) How do I import grayed-out images?
4) images are in order in the bottom strip, but when ‘Export,... ‘ the images displayed on the screen are all random order.
Thanks, Pete

1. "Export" has always been on the bottom left of the Library window, just above the filmstrip.
2. "Import" is right alongside the Export button.
3. "Greyed-out" images usually means the image is already in the catalog....so why would you want to re-import (thus creating duplicates)?
4. I'm not completely following you. After you Export images, where are they being displayed on the screnn? Do you mean that when you export you add the exported files back into the catalog? In which case it is entirely possible that the sort order of the exported images on re-import is set differently to the sort order of the images in the filmstrip before export. For example, you may have set a custom sort order for the images beings exported, but on re-import they will automatically be sorted in Capture Time order, which will thus be different to the initial custom order.

Thanks for your response Jim.
