Is there a way to reverse the Export to Ps as Layers so that the edited layers get returned to Lr as single images with the same name they were exported as?

So, did you Open two (or more) photos 'as layers' instead of individual separate documents?
And now want a separate photo saved from each layer?

If all your edits were done ON each layer, or you merged adjustment layers down to each background layer, then Photoshop has a command to save layers- File > Export > Layers to Files... (it exports layers 'as you see them' in the Layers panel)
and this will create new images. It seems to use the the original filename of one photo and adds some info to each exported photo. You would then need to 'Import' or 'folder synchronize' the new files to see them in Lightroom.

So. Possible , but with work-arounds. TBMK :)

Great! I'll give that a try, then Sync the files in Lr later.

Thanks!
