In Library module, Grid, I was sorting a collection of images for a slideshow, by dragging and dropping them into the sequence I wanted. Then something interfered, and I was no longer able to DROP the image: it would drag it into the desired position, but on releasing the mouse the image would revert to its original position. Is there a switch somewhere that I tripped accidentally to "freeze" the arrangement ? If so, how do I regain the ability to drag-and-drop? Thanks.

On the tool bar make sure the Sort order reads "Custom Order". All others sort based upon the designated characteristic like "Capture Time" or "File Name"

Cletus, you are a gem to answer so quickly, but "Custom Order" has been checked since I started this sort--and still is. Since I posted a few minutes ago I tried again, however. I managed to move two images successfully, but most of them still will NOT. Strange...

Just to cover all the bases, are you sure you're dragging the image and not the frame?
