Hi There I use Lightroom Classic CC, Version 7.5. I cannot run a slideshow - a window pops up saying: Dynamic Link Media Server failed to launch Please try relaunching the app. If the problem persists, you may want to re-install Lightroom.

Has anybody faced the same problem and found a way so solve it? Thank you very much

Did you try that already? Don't worry, your catalog won't be affected.

I was seeing this Dynamic Link Media Server error with 7.5 in other places (primarily video handling). It seems to have gone away for me with the update to Lightroom Classic 8.0. Maybe it fixed slideshows as well? They do work for me on the combination of High Sierra and Lr 8 but I can't say that I used them in Lr 7.5.
