will lightroom cc classic 7.5 support map module ?

Hi
i have read that lighroom cc v6 and the older version ,will not soon support the map module very soon

may i ask if the lightroom cc classic v7.x will keep this module working

Nobody can say with certainty of course, but there's no reason to suppose that the map module won't continue to be supported in the current/latest version of LR Classic.

but is there an alternative ? i guess darktable can it do it
geosetter is windows only

Google recently made changes in the architecture and licensing of their maps system. Adobe updated current software - ie LrClassic - but won't go back and update old versions.
 
If you're with Classic, you don't need those alternatives. HoudahGeo works on Mac and was what I used to geotag before it was added to LR.
