Brand new so please excuse my naiveté: I just bought and loaded LR 6 and find it will not read RAW files from my Sony RX10 (converted as ARW files). I read that Adobe is not longer supporting LR6?? and that these files can only be read by upgrading to LRCC?? I have no problem upgrading but want to be sure it's necessary and wondering if there may be a CR since I just bought and installed LR6 today?
Thanks for your help

According to this page, all versions of the RX10 are supported in Lightroom 6, but you may have to update from 6.0 to 6.14. That update is free and you can get it here.

Upgraded to 6.14 and now reading the RAW files - Thank you! Still concerned about support, seems as though Adobe is pushing for LRCC. Would you suggest moving to CC?
YOur advice is appreciated

Adobe is indeed no longer supporting Lightroom 6. Whether you want to upgrade to Lightroom Classic CC is your choice; I can't make that choice for you. Just be aware that Lightroom Classic CC is the next version of Lightroom 6! There is also 'Lightroom CC', but that is a new and different application.
