The Download Link
Once you’ve placed your order, or you’ve emailed me to ask for the free eBooks after buying the paperback from another site, you’ll receive an email with a download link.
The email will say something like:
“You can download the eBooks from: https://www.e-junkie.com/d/fakedownloadlink. This link will expire after x days or after x downloads, whichever comes first.”
The link will take you to a secure domain called fatfreecartpro.com – don’t worry, they’re just the distribution company I use.
Click where it says “Click here” and your browser should ask you where to save the file. Save it somewhere safe!
Downloading on an iPad
iPad’s can’t open zip files by default, and don’t save downloads, so it’s best to avoid downloading on your iDevice. The simplest option is to download to your computer and then sync the file, however if you don’t have access to your computer, it is possible to download the file by copying the download link into GoodReader. You’ll find instructions on GoodReader’s website.
Opening the Downloaded File
The file you’ve downloaded is a ZIP file, which contains the different eBook formats. Once it’s finished downloading, double click to open it so that you can see the files inside. At the time of writing, there are 4 files:
- AdobeLightroom3-MissingFAQ110222.pdf – is the primary PDF format
- ALTMF3.epub – is the ePub format
- ALTMF3.mobi – is the Kindle format
- List of Changes 110222.pdf – is a list of the changes in this update
If you’re reading on a computer, the PDF format will be your best option, but the other formats are designed for devices such as eReaders and mobile phones. If you’re not sure which format you need to use, check the Book Formats page for more details.
Finally, if you want to read the book on an eReader or other mobile device, you’ll need to copy the file to the device. I’ve covered the most popular devices on the following pages, but your instruction manual should give details on transferring files to your device if you’re unsure.

If you’ve asked for the free eBooks, there will also be a link to join the mailing list to be notified of any further free updates. If you’ve purchased the book directly from this website, you’ll already be subscribed automatically. You can unsubscribe at any time, however I rarely email, and your details won’t be passed to anyone else.
